Mayberry Homes has been named a “Housing Giant”

Mayberry Homes has been named a “Housing Giant” by Professional Builder magazine for the fifth consecutive year.

The magazine ranks homebuilders by total revenues last year, listing the top 240 in the nation. Mayberry ranks 231st on the list based on more than $46 million in revenues for the sales of 116 homes.

“To be named among the nation’s top builders by Professional Builder demonstrates the value of our homes and our communities within the Greater Lansing, Michigan area,” Robert K. Schroeder, the company’s president, said in a written statement. “Being recognized again on this prestigious list is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire Mayberry Homes team.”

Firms that wish to be considered for the Housing Giants list must complete a questionnaire that includes the types of homes they build, average square footage, revenue and closings.

This year, the Housing Giant list was topped by Texas-based D.R. Horton reporting revenues topping $32 billion from 83,654 home sales.

Coming in second was Florida-based Lennar Corporation, with sales last year totaling more than $31 billion with more than 66,000 home sales.
