How long does it take to build a new home with Mayberry Homes?

Our typical time frame from a signed contract to moving day is 8-10 months. Many factors can influence the build time including weather to financing delays to how long it takes to make selections. Pre-construction usually takes 90-120 days – this includes financing, selections, options, estimating, scheduling, etc. Actual construction takes about five months.

Can I customize an existing plan or design a custom plan?

Absolutely! We offer customization of our floor plans as well as have a custom plan process if you already have a plan in mind.

Beginning May 10, 2021, Abbot Road, between East Saginaw Highway and Lake Lansing Road, will be resurfaced. The project is tentatively scheduled to be completed by August 13, 2021.

The roadway will be closed to through traffic, but one lane will remain open to local traffic (motorists who reside within the construction area) and will be designated by signs, barricades, barrels and flag personnel.

When visiting our Mayberry Homes office in East Lansing, please access Kendale Blvd. from East Saginaw Highway rather than Abbot Rd. / Woodland Pass.
