Thank you so much for our wonderful home and working with us, especially Jodie, Joe, and Steve. You have been so patient and kind and have answered all our questions and many e-mails and always right out take care of a problem if it arose.
You made a very stressful building process less stressful and more exciting. Each night coming home was like Christmas seeing what next exciting step our home took. You took some wood and steel and made it a home and we love it! It is so quiet and peaceful along with being so beautiful. We have had so many friends, relatives, and new neighbors visit and share our excitement and welcome us to the neighborhood. Thank you also for being kind and considerate to our new neighbors too. They never complained about the noise or anything because your company is very professional and so are all your contractors. I had a great time with them and they all went out of their way to help answer any questions or get the job done…and right!
Karen, the goodie bag was the frosting on the cake to let us know we chose the right and best company/builders. Thank you again for everything. We are so happy with our home and you helped make our dream possible and come true.

I happened to see "Extreme Makeover" last evening and wanted to see more about your company. I am originally from the Detroit area and have lived in Florida for over 30 years, but a few of my classmates move to the other direction. . . towards the Lansing area. I was very moved by the Schroeders and their unselfishness at helping this family and being a designer in the home building industry, I just had to peek at your homes! I don't find too many builders in our area who build a nice home under 3,000 sq. ft., so I was being nosy.

Robert and Karen, I have been meaning to contact you about the Home Makeover Show. Let me explain the importance of having a home that one can live in and the congratulations that you and your employees deserve.
I was raised in an orphanage in Ohio, The Ohio Soldiers and Sailors Orphans Home, Xenia, Ohio. There were many nights that I would sit up at night wondering what my life would turn out to be. I watched the shadows from the Maple trees dance on the walls of my room from the street light just outside our cottage.
While not the best life for a child We had each other and still stay in touch with our ex-pupils. We had our own high school and resided at the home for most of our younger lives until graduation. However, there wasn't a day that went by that we didn't wish for a Home like the children from other schools that we visited during competition of athletic events. The Home gave us three square meals a day, clothes on our back, a good education, and a roof over our head, but we longed for more.
During my 30 year career with the military, traveling to many foreign countries, mostly in Asia, I would make it a point to find a local orphanage to see how I might help to give the children the same care that I had received.
Please let your employees know how truly important their contribution to the success of the project was. From one who knows the real meaning of having a place to call HOME. It is because of companies like yours' and their employees that makes me so proud to have been an American Soldier for all those years. Never doubt this younger generation, when the plan is on the line they will respond, as I found out during my last combat action, "Desert Storm". God is Good, all the time, and All the Time, God is Good. May the New Year bless your company and it's employees during these rough financial times.

I recently moved into my new home in Eagle Eye after suffering through the summer waiting to move in. I have never before had such a good feeling about a total experience with building a home as I have now had with Mayberry. My personal bias is that I could not be happier with the final product. After moving in on September 15th, I have had a couple of parties and numerous guests from all over the state. Everyone coming through has been so excited to go through what they have called the Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons experience after going through the home. It obviously gives me a great feeling of pride and joy but to see it in their eyes as well reinforces my feelings. I want to thank all of the employees at Mayberry Homes and then Katie Designs...as well. It has been over a month now since we closed on our new condo at Eagle Eye and we have been remiss in not writing you sooner to express our sincere appreciation for your thoughfulness at the time of our closing. The gift basket of goodies we received at closing and upon arrival at the condo were immediately put to good use to help provide both nutrition and energy for the big move. (By the way, Two Men and A Truck also wanted me to pass along their gratitude for the ham and turkey sandwiches. The food certainly helped us win "best customer ever" status from the tired, but hardworking team of movers.)
As far as the condo is concerned, Vicki and I have yet to find anything we would do differently and we continue to be impressed by the quality of workmanship we are able to enjoy each and every day thanks to your leadership and wonderful team of design engineers and contractors. Visitors to our new home are equally impressed with the overall build quality and outstanding detail finish work apparent from the time you enter the driveway to your first step inside.
We also want to express our sincere gratitude to Kelly LaVeque who expertly and graciously led us through the early sales process and design stages when choices had to be made fast and furious. Her attention to detail and follow up was invaluable and we incorporated many of her suggestions in our final plans. We further want to personally thank Joe Schroeder for his efforts to finish the job, for his patience in answering our many questions and for going out of his way to make sure we were satisfied customers.
I am sure we will leave out some deserving staff, but please also pass along our thanks to Lindsey and Bobbie who at one time or another provided us prompt service, information and help with administrative matters as we moved along the building and closing process.
